Chad Kirchner and I wanted to create something that moved because of viewers as well as moved viewers, emotionally.

The 8 × 8 × 20’ installation was built with roughly 700 speckle-painted cats hung on quilter's filament from stained plywood frames to simulate flight, falling and floating.
